#1 Question:  How can I be saved???

First, you have to hear about Jesus and believe that he is God’s son. See Romans 10:8-10 “But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Is that all I have to do?  Believe that Jesus is Lord and say so and I will be saved.  Well… that’s not quite all—See Acts 2:38 “Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”  Now, check out Mark 16:16 “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Galatians 3:27 says, “for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” And Romans 6:3-4 tells us “Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?  We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
