Who are we and how do we worship?
Well, we are the congregation of God’s
people that worship Him at Boardtown Church of Christ.
We worship God based on the model we
are given in the New Testament.
We strive to follow God’s teachings and worship in
Spirit and in truth.
We sing with joy, “making melody in our hearts to the
Lord”.
We pray with conviction, knowing that our God hears and answers
the prayers of His children.
We remember the sacrifice our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
made on the cross of Calvary so we can have the hope of heaven, by sharing the Lord’s Supper upon the first day of the
week as in New Testament times.
We give of our material blessings so that we may continue
the work of God and share God with others.
We are taught meaningful, relevant lessons from God’s
Word to help us live our lives more and more closely to God’s original design for us.
Why
we do these things? Because the Bible teaches us to follow this pattern.
